Remataki is located at the eastern end of the coastal area of Pythagoreio, behind the small breakwater and directly connected with the seaside promenade.

It is only a few minutes on foot from the central harbour, the Statue of Pythagoras, the taxi rank, shops and most accommodation establishments in the settlement.

Administratively, it belongs to the Community of Pythagoreio, the Municipal Unit of Pythagoreio and the Municipality of East Samos.

The main section of the beach is approximately 150 metres long, followed by a narrower continuation of around 60 metres beside the stone-built wall. The average width of the shore is approximately 7 metres.

The coastal promenade and short distance from the centre make it easier for people with reduced mobility to approach the beach.
