Lemonakia Beach is located on the northern side of Samos, west of Kokkari, along the coastal route towards Tsamadou.

It is a small and particularly beautiful pebbly cove surrounded by pine trees, dense Mediterranean vegetation and green hillsides descending close to the sea.

The clear turquoise-green water, light-coloured pebbles and striking contrast between the green landscape and the deep blue of the Aegean Sea create one of the most characteristic scenes of northern Samos.

During the summer season, the beach is organised with umbrellas, sun loungers, a beach bar, dining venues and basic visitor facilities.

Despite its relatively limited size, it is one of the most popular beaches close to Kokkari and attracts many visitors during the main summer months.

On days with calm sea conditions, the water is exceptionally clear and suitable for swimming and snorkelling. When strong northerly winds blow, waves may develop and entering the sea can become more demanding.
